Vision Australia's Carols By Candlelight 2015

Top performers come together to ‘be the light’ for children who are blind

Tink PR was again thrilled to be part of their fourth Carols By Candlelight event (and boy do we love Christmas time!). The agency was responsible for securing the Carols Ambassadors Christie Whelan and X-Factor star Taylor Henderson and leveraging their involvement in the event. We also worked closely with Channel Nine to leverage all the performers nationally to promote both the telecast and most importantly drive awareness of ticket sales and the donation line to encourage people to support the work of Vision Australia.

Tink PR launched the Carols By Candlelight campaign at Eastland Shopping Centre with 6 live crosses which announced performers, saw Santa visit with some cute Seeing Eye puppies, had a special performance by Ambassador Taylor Henderson and finished up with a big family Christmas feast with all the performers and Today Show weather host Steve Jacobs.

The agency also worked to secure radio interviews with a variety of performers to drive awareness/donations for the campaign right around Australia, as well as secured free air time on radio for Vision Australia CSA’s. A key highlight for the 2015 campaign was securing the front cover of the Herald Sun on 23rd December with Ambassador Christie Whelan pointing to the event.

Tink PR was able to secure a total of $3,733, 944.00 worth of national publicity for the entire campaign.  Key Campaign highlights include:
