Vision Australia's Carols By Candlelight

Raising money for children who are blind or have low vision.

Tink PR was one again proud to be working with Vision Australia on the 2014 Carols By Candlelight for their fourth consecutive year. It certainly is one of our favorite events and a great way for the agency to finish off another big year.

Tink PR secured ambassadors Harrison Craig, Michael Vaiasinni, Lucy Durack and Voice runner -up Jackson Thomas and worked with them, and the other performers on all the pre-publicity leading into the event. We also worked closely with families to highlight the fantastic work of Vision Australia in communities right across Australia. This year’s results were our strongest yet with over 70 national radio interviews, 57 online stories, 31 TV interviews and stories and a staggering 97 print articles. The PR value for the 2014 campaign was in excess of $5 million.

The event is made possible by an amazing team of volunteers (including performers who generously give their time to help raise money for Vision Australia) and we are always honored to be part of this iconic Melbourne event.

The agency is already starting to plan for 2015 which we know will be bigger and better again. And let’s face it, Christmas will be here before we know it!
