Tink PR worked with Starlight Children’s Foundation, the chosen charity of choice for the VRC’s Pin & Win Campaign over Spring Racing Carnival in 2015, where one lucky winner took home a brand new Lexus.
The agency worked with Starlight Pin & Win Ambassadors Dylan Alcott, Melanie Vallejo, Chyka Keebaugh, Jack Gunston and Ash Pollard to secure media coverage for the campaign.
Tink PR secured just under $2 million worth of PR for the charity with highlights including national news coverage on Channel 7 and their Spring Racing Broadcast (which on Cup Day reaches over 3 million viewers alone), features on Ambassadors Dylan Alcott and Chyka Keebaugh in the Saturday Herald Sun (Weekend and Home supplements), as well as multiple stories in the Herald Sun’s Confidential.
The campaign was a great success and raised over $350,000 for Starlight Children’s Foundation. All funds were directed to the Starlight Express Room at the Royal Children’s Hospital to provide medical-free respite for sick children and their families.
