Tink PR were proud to once again work with Starlight Children’s Foundation as the chosen charity for the VRC’s Pin & Win Campaign throughout the 2016 Melbourne Cup Carnival.
The agency worked with Starlight Pin & Win Ambassadors Jack Gunston, Rob Mills, Demi Harman, Adam Dovile, Emma Booth and Dylan Alcott to secure media coverage for the campaign.
Tink PR secured more than $7 million worth of PR for the charity, with highlights including national news coverage on Channel 7 and their Spring Racing Broadcast, a nationally televised interview on The Today Show with Ambassador Dylan Alcott in the lead up to the Spring Carnival, national coverage in News Corp’s Sunday Style Magazine, as well as multiple Victorian based radio interviews.
The campaign was a great success and raised over $300,000 for Starlight Children’s Foundation. All funds were directed to the Starlight Express Room at the Royal Children’s Hospital and will help to provide medical-free respite for sick children and their families.
