Tink PR were honoured to work with safe steps Family Violence Response Centre at their annual Candlelight Vigil for the third consecutive year.
Held at Federation Square on Wednesday 3rd May and led by MC Shaynna Blaze, the community came together to remember those who have lost their lives to family violence and to let the women and children who are currently experiencing family violence know that they are never alone.
Along with powerful speeches made by safe steps survivor advocate Katie and Family Violence Advocate Tarang Chawla, the crowd were treated to an emotional and inspiring performance from the amazing Kate Ceberano AM.
Tink PR secured media placement in both the Herald Sun and The Age, as well as securing Channel Nine News to come and film on the night of the Vigil.
The agency also worked in the lead up to the Vigil to create exposure through social media, securing social media posts from celebrities and influencers such as Chyka Keebaugh, Zoe Foster-Blake, Shelley Craft, Shaynna Blaze and Ada Kate Ceberano.
The team at Tink are extremely passionate about this issue and the work that safe steps do and we look forward to working with them in the future, in the hope of putting an end to family violence forever.
