Top Australian fashion illustrator, Kerrie Hess, collaborated with artisanal shoe brand Ballettonet, to create a limited edition collection of ballet flats handcrafted in Italy.
The stunning eight piece range reflected Kerrie’s elegant and sophisticated style. Drawing inspiration from her former home in Paris, Kerrie’s goal was to design beautiful, comfortable and classic flats that are a must-have wardrobe staple.
Kerrie worked closely with the artisans in Civitanova Marche, where she was involved in every aspect of the design. From the shade and texture of the grosgrain ribbon used on the Paris en Noir , to the rose gold detailing on the Rose Gold Praline and the selection of the nappa and suede leathers used on the Tiffany Menthe, Framboise, Cafe Creme, Classique Noi, Fleur de Rose and Frenchie Flats to ensure softness and style. Each ballet flat also features an illustration of a French bulldog on the insole, which is signature Hess.
Tink PR worked closely with both Kerrie and the Director Stephanie from Ballettonet to create a campaign targeting all fashion outlets and style influencers with articles secured in Shop Til You Drop, The Weekly Review, Gold Coast Magazine, Sunday Style, The Joye Report, The Weekly Review, Q Weekend, Style Magazine, Bride To Be and more.
