Tink PR was engaged to generate press and awareness of Neil Hamblen’s latest venture, Meatmaiden. Following on from his successful restaurant Meatmother in Richmond, Hamblen took on a cool den located in Little Collins Street and turned it into the Maiden which is all about Smoke. Grill. Beer. Liquor.
Tink PR engaged key print media and bloggers for a special preview menu tasting, before coordinating their soft launch with Melbourne’s food media and social influencers. Tink PR was able to generate stories with Gourmet Traveller, Good Food, Taste, The Australian, Herald Sun Weekend Lift-out, Daily Addict, M Magazine, Broadsheet, The Urban List, Concrete Playground, Alphabet Pony, Milkbar magazine and more. The soft launch generated a lot of social media buzz with over 100 instagram posts throughout the dinner followed by blog posts by well-known and respected bloggers.
The campaign was a great success with the restaurant doors opening to strong public interest.
